Coach Nicole is proud to be a part of the coaching staff with Mira Costa Volleyball.
She led the JV team to seven very successful seasons, earning the Bay League title each season and eleven tournament wins. Stepping into the varsity head coach role, she is looking forward to adding to the program's already stellar legacy.
Nicole is from Fort Wayne, IN and played her indoor college career ('99-'03) at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). She began as a defensive specialist and transitioned to libero when that rule change went into effect in 2001. While at IPFW, Nicole was an integral part of the volleyball program when they transitioned from Div.II to a Div.I competitor. With 17 years of club coaching experience, SC Rockstar (formerly SCVC) has proudly been her home base as a club coach for the past 9 seasons coaching many different levels from 13's to 18's. Coach Nicole is also a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and has developed strategies that will help the players learn about and focus on some of the non-physical aspects that are important to high level performance such as sleep, nutrition, mindfulness/breath awareness, self-compassion and growth mindset. She will help guide and empower each of the players to develop healthy practices that will benefit them on and off the court.
Nicole lives in Redondo Beach with her husband, Jeremy Roueche (DJ for the Lakers).

Adept at building a powerhouse culture on the sand and the hardwood, this is Nancy's 9th season as Costa's Varsity Assistant Coach and she also serves as Costa Girls Head Beach Volleyball Coach—where she's authored a dynasty in the sand capturing a Division 1 CIF Championship in 2026 and back to back in 2024 & 2023. She returned to the Mustangs in 2017 after previously helping steer the indoor team to the CIF and National Championships in 2007.
A former standout on the AVP and FIVB Tours with over 30 podium finishes, Nancy has coached some of the game's biggest names, including Olympians April Ross and Nicole Branagh. From guiding club teams to Junior Nationals medals to mentoring elite athletes, Nancy's impact spans all levels of the sport. A four-year starter at Indiana University and an All-Big Ten Scholar-Athlete, she still ranks among the school's all-time leaders in digs and blocks.
She lives in Hermosa Beach with her husband, Brett, and their son, Henry.

Coach Keegan (Featherstone) is back for her 3rd year on Mustang turf and now as our JV Head Coach, bringing championship DNA and a lifelong connection to Mira Costa Volleyball. A standout from 1998–2001, Coach Keegan helped deliver back-to-back CIF and Bay League titles before earning a scholarship and starting role at UC Irvine. Her career soared from there—competing on the AVP Tour and representing the U.S. at the 2008 World University Games in Germany with Olympian Lauren Fendrick.
Inspired by her father, the legendary Coach John Featherstone, Keegan carved out a powerhouse coaching path—guiding Mira Costa and SCVC teams to national medals and leading Bishop Montgomery to league titles, all while teaching and launching their girls beach program.
Now she's home, ready to pass on the legacy with grit, heart, and Mustang pride.

We are thrilled to welcome Tomer Hadar to the Mustang indoor coaching staff.
A two-time Israeli National Champion and one of the youngest athletes ever to win that title, Tomer has quickly become one of Israel's top beach volleyball talents. Ranked among the top 80 players in the FIVB world standings, he brings a unique blend of international experience, discipline and passion for the game.
Born in Boston and raised in Tel Aviv, Tomer began competing on the global stage as a teenager, representing Israel in major international tournaments across Europe and beyond. His rise through the FIVB ranks reflects not only his athletic ability, but also his relentless work ethic and composure under pressure. Now based in the South Bay, Tomer continues to train and compete while sharing his love for the sport through coaching and player development. In his first year as a club coach Tomer had impressive results: his Surfside PV (now Embers) 13U team placed 5th at Nationals in the open division after winning SCSN. His 14U team placed 3rd at AAU and were also SCSN D3 champions.
Tomer's international background and professional insight make him a tremendous asset to the Mira Costa program and a source of inspiration for young athletes striving to reach the next level.
